The last thing that any family in Texas wants to hear is that they lost a loved one due to a vehicle crash. It’s one of the most life shattering things to have happened, and I truly hope it is something you never experience. But unfortunately, there are thousands of people that are killed on the road each year. But many of those dangerous and fatal accidents are avoidable. Let’s look at some of the Texas highways that have seen the most fatalities.

Texas Vehicle Crash

Back in 2020, there were an estimated 39,000 people that lost their life in a vehicle accident in the U.S. Nearly half of all those crashes were caused by speeding, not wearing a seat belt or involved alcohol or a combination of those factors. We are talking about vehicles that weigh a lot traveling at a high rate of speed, it’s a recipe for disaster if people are not safe.

Tragedy Knows No Age

Driving safe is something we all need to remember every time we get behind the wheel. This topic is important to me because I had a 16-year-old cousin who died in a vehicle accident due to a drunk driver and he wasn’t wearing his seat belt. That hurt my grandparents in a way I had never seen before, please be as safe as possible so your family doesn’t have to go through that pain.
