It stays hot in Texas when other people in the United States are already bundling up for the fall and winter. But Thursday November 2, 2017 took it to new heights and now holds the record for the hottest November 2 in DFW in the history of recording temperatures.

U.S. Severe Weather Network shared the news, stating that 94 degrees was the temperature yesterday at DFW. Temperatures began being recorded back in 1898 and this is the first time it's reached over 90 degrees in the month of November.

According to the Star-Telegram, the previous high temperature record in November was 89 degrees in 1955, '89, and '05.

So if you were sweating while taking a stroll to your car yesterday, don't worry it's not you. It's mother nature.
