It's pretty much December so we are officially allowed to embrace the Christmas spirit with less than a month until Santa arrives. So experience and spread holiday cheer at this year’s ETMC Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony.

The ceremony has become an annual event since 1997, according to Tyler Morning Telegraph, when it was tied to their kidney transplant program where they treated over 750 patients. Then they celebrated other services like cardiac, cancer, and kids just to name a few.

Their event page says the program will start around 4:30 pm and the first thing to see is the ‘Express Employment Professional Clydesdales.  The rare black and white horses will be available for photos in the lot across the street from the hospital.

Also, Santa Claus will be there in his sleigh on the front lawn of the hospital from  5 to 6 pm and the tree lighting ceremony will begin at 5:20 pm with Christmas carols being sung by the Brook Hill High School Choir.

Refreshments will be served and free parking is available in the ETMC garage.
