Poor Chris Wallace!

Now that my headache is over from last nights showdown at the Presidential Debate.  I can give my thoughts about the WWE wrestling match between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden.

The debate was exactly what I thought it was going to be minus the steel cage.  There was mud slinging, insults, and dancing around the real issues leaving the American people wondering...What the hell was I just watching?

Presidential debates have been taking place for 60 years and I have NEVER seen anything like this since I first casted my ballot to vote back in the 90's as Trump consistently dominated the debate by interrupting Biden spoke which made it difficult to understand at times.

Then we start the name calling a personal jabs as Trump said to Biden there's quote "nothing smart about you" and went after his son Hunter Biden, but Joe didn't back down either as he called Trump a "fool", "clown", and a "racist."

This debate was basically an example of a post you would see on Facebook and see the thread of insults from individuals who don't see eye to eye.

However, the one main take away from me was when Trump was asked to condemn White Supremacy, and militia groups, but instead he tells them to do the following...

Stand back and Stand by.....

Oh, you don't believe me?  Here's video of the statement.

Now, as a person who has been Black all my life that sent chills as the Commander In Chief would not condemn racist groups, but instead give an indication to wait for the call before you do anything.

I am not sure what message he was trying to give, but I really hope he clear that up for the sake of the American people.

After last night dumpster fire, NBC News reported from their social media page that the Commission on Presidential Debates said that additional structures should be added to the format of the remaining debates to ensure a more orderly discussion on the issues which I totally agree.

Maybe they should do a Zoom debate and have the moderator mute their mics when the other party is talking!

Nevertheless, the next scheduled debate is between Vice President Mike Pence and Senator Kamala Harris will take place on October 7th in Salt Lake City, Utah where Washington Bureau Chief Susan Page of USA Today will be moderator and let's all hope this one will be more about the issues instead of the name calling.

Regardless of who your candidate is just remember to BE SEEN...BE HEARD...VOTE ON NOVEMBER 3RD!
