Tyler Mayor Barbara Bass Honors Amazing Tyler Teachers

Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. Tyler's Mayor Barbara Bass will deliver the Teacher Appreciation proclamation at Rice Elementary School. 

Following the press conference, city leaders will deliver cookies and balloons, generously donated by Tyler Walmart stores, to 30 different Tyler campuses. During the Tyler 1st planning process an entire chapter was added for Education.

“Events such as this that show appreciation for our teachers is just one of the ideas we heard through the community planning process,” said Tyler Mayor Barbara Bass.
