
USA Vs. Recession – Texas #2 Best Place To Be
There's a pretty good chance the USA is facing a recession and if/when it happens, some states are going to fare better than others. Texas will fare 2nd best.
According to Newsweek, during a recession, Florida will fare best. That's thanks to a number of factors including a big and diverse economy, low debt, a low need for federal funds and limited reliance on trade with China.
Pretty much the same deal with Texas.
Another straw in Texas' hat was the large number of big companies that have bailed on California and made the move to the lone star state lured by the more friendly tax environment offered to them here in Texas.

With Florida at number 1 and Texas at number 2; the rest of the top 10 looks like this:

The 10 states least ready for recession include New Mexico but, with their proximity to El Paso and Juarez, Las Cruces and Sunland Park may hold up better than the rest of the state. Thanks to El Paso, the legal pot sales in New Mexico should be ok though.
