Wet Roads = Wrecks In East Texas

Here in East Texas we're not accustomed to driving on wet roads!  We're in the middle of a drought and with this rain we've been getting we're having to learn how to drive on wet roads once again.  The biggest thing to remember is to SLOW DOWN!

It is easy to hydroplane and slide off the road just like this driver.

The driver was driving North on Old Jacksonville Hwy. south of Sunnybrook Tuesday morning around 7:45a and lost control of her car causing her to spin out, jump a curve and take out a power pole.

Both the driver and her 6 year old daughter were taken to the hospital with minor injuries according to KLTV.

Remember, when the roads are wet or it's raining, please slow down.
