Today, I'm thankful for my ability to communicate. It seems simple, but just think how big it truly is.

Not everyone is able to communicate as easily as I am, and it's something that I don't often stop and think about. Communication is not only a gift, but important and yet in our culture we often either under or over communicate daily.

A great example of this my Facebook feed. Some of my friends share more than I would really like to know about their daily lives, and others don't share often at all.

What's great about this? I have the choice to read less or reach out. If it does not enhance my day to know that someone ate green eggs and ham for breakfast, then I can ignore it and move on. I have the ability to choose how I react and communicate, and it's a blessing.
