Zombie Apocalypse Coming To Longview

Partners in Prevention of Longview is currently preparing for a 5K Zombie Fun Run. You are invited to participate as a zombie or a survivor.

A Zombie Apocalypse is coming to Longview on Saturday, October 26, 2013!  The ROTT Zombie Fun Run-Walk will start at 9AM at McWhorter Park.  Give brains or blood!  Carter Blood Care will be there for our “undead” blood drive!  Longview Community Ministries will be on-site for our Zombie Apocalypse Survivor Food Drive.  Sign on as a survivor or rise up from the grave … the choice is yours… or is it?

Participate as a zombie and be on the hunt for brains, or sign-up as a survivor and run for your life. The run will raise funding for Partners in Prevention in Longview, a volunteer driven community organization that addresses community barriers by inspiring hope, connecting partners, and building trusting relationships that transform lives.

Fun Runs are currently in vogue, especially themed fun runs. A Color Up 5K was recently held in Tyler to raise money for the Children's Park. In this race participants are dusted with a variety of different colored powders throughout the course.
