Ouch!  Sorry, Jon Hamm.  The Emmys just don't seem to be your thing, but at least you're handsome!  Instead, the big drama victor is 'Homeland' star Damian Lewis, taking home the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama.  His first nomination as well as win, the UK thespian was honored for his role as 'Homeland's Sergeant Nicholas Brody, a veteran kept as a POW for years before finally returning to the United States with a double-life as a terrorist.

For his first career Emmy win, Lewis beat out the impressive likes of 'Mad Men's Jon Hamm (sorry!), 'Dexter's Michael C. Hall (at least it's Showtime!), 'Boardwalk Empire's Steve Buscemi, 'Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston (seriously?) and 'Downton Abbey's Hugh Bonneville.

Well, what do you think?  Was Lewis' performance in the first season of 'Homeland' good enough to deserve the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series Emmy?  Was Bryan Cranston robbed?  Tune in for season 2 of 'Homeland' beginning September 30, and tell us what you think in the comments!
