With the summer of 2015 unofficially wrapping up on Labor Day, Billboard magazine has named their song of the summer, however it's a bit different than our online poll!

Billboard ranked all the songs played on cumulative air play on the Billboard Hot 100 chart from Memorial Day to Labor Day and OMI's "Cheerleader" came out on top of the list. The five biggest songs of the summer according to Billboard were:

1. OMI "Cheerleader"
2. Wiz Khalifa & Charlie Puth "See You Again"
3. Taylor Swift "Bad Blood"
4. The Weeknd "Can't Feel My Face"
5. Silento "Watch Me"

We've been polling you for the last few weeks asking you what the song of the summer should be and you're results vary greatly from Billboard's! From our very unscientific poll, the top five songs of the summer were:

1. Maroon 5 "Sugar"
2. Jason Derulo "Want To Want Me"
3. Walk The Moon "Shut Up And Dance"
4. The Weeknd "Can't Feel My Face
5. Taylor Swift "Bad Blood"

The only result in common from airplay and our poll is that The Weeknd managed to come in fourth place on both with "Can't Feel My Face"!
