Just How Generous Were East Texans When Giving To CMN In 2023?

The past two days on Mix 93-1 have been extremely special. Mix 93-1 hosted the 25th annual Mix With Kids Children's Miracle Network Radiothon to raise money for pediatric services at CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hosptial and Clinics throughout East Texas.

Mix 93-1's Lucky Larry and Mandee Montana have seen firsthand that when it comes to children East Texans have nothing but love and compassion for them.

This past Thursday and Friday -- August 10th and 11th -- East Texans called in to make a monetary donation to help bring premiere care and equipment to East Texas to care for kids in the hospital system from birth all the way up to 18 years of age.

During the radiothon, CMN Miracle Kids, their families, doctors, nurses, hospital support staff, and East Texas families shared with us all how Children's Miracle Network has impacted them and their families and asked you to call in and make that donation or pledge. When the phones finally stopped ringing on the 25th annual radiothon, East Texas pledged:

This is a total to be proud of East Texas and a lot of great work is going to be completed within our community thanks to your support and generosity.

The beauty of the Mix With Kids Children's Miracle Network Radiothon is that all the money that is donated will stay here in East Texas and will be used to purchase valuable healthcare equipment for our children at CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital and clinics throughout East Texas. Those funds will help the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), the special needs clinic, the children’s center, the mother unit, ambulance services, emergency room services, Flight For Life, and more.

Mix 93-1 would like to say thanks to the many volunteers that helped make this year an amazing one. More importantly, though, Mix 93-1 and CMN wish to thank the many families that have benefited from Children’s Miracle Network and for them allowing us to share their stories throughout the Mix With Kids Children's Miracle Network Radiothon.
