The top 10 for Season 12 of 'American Idol' was revealed on Thursday's episode, the first results show of the season. America has chosen the five men and five women that comprise the top 10.
Here's who's moving on:
Paul Jolley: His victory song was 'Alone' by Heart. It showed us why he made it to the Top 10.
Burnell Taylor: The Louisiana native delivered 'Ready for Love' by India.Arie for his I'm-going-to-Hollywood song, complete with animated arm movements.
Curtis Finch, Jr.: Spiritual and soulful, the big man with the big voice delivered John Legend's 'So High' as his celebratory song. He soared.
Devin Velez: 'The Power of One' was the teen's victory track. It was no shock that he got upstreamed to the top 10, since his bilingual vocals make him ultra marketable.
Lazaro Arbos: Despite a stutter, Arbos has a beautiful, dreamy voice. His celebratory song was 'Bridge Over Troubled Water.' We predict he will make it to the wire, if he doesn't win the whole thing.
Unfortunately, we said goodbye to Charlie Askew, Elijah Liu, Cortez Shaw, Nick Boddington and Vincent Powell tonight. Best of luck, gents.
Janelle Arthur: The country cutie from Tennessee showed us what she is made of with a rendition of Dierks Bentley's 'Home.'
Candice Glover: She was overwhelmed by the crowd's reaction to her, bursting into tears. She almost couldn't singer her victory song. But she made it through 'I'm Going Down' with soulful bluster.
Angie Miller: They pretty vocalist celebrated her advancement with Beyonce's big, bold ballad 'I Was Here.'
Amber Holcomb: She sang the uptempo 'I'm Every Women' when she did her victory song and strut. Finally, something that wasn't a ballad! She has a lot of marketable appeal.
Kree Harrison: The country gal kept the pacing fast, singing 'Evidence' by Susan Tedeschi for her victory lap. She's another serious contender.
Not moving on were Breanna Steer, Adriana Latonio, Tenna Torres, Aubrey Cleland and Zoanette Johnson.
