I grew up in a one-stoplight town in rural Nebraska and lived there until I was old enough to fly the coop! I graduated from college at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, then took off for Austin. Any city with beautiful trees and awesome refried beans just can't be beat. From there I worked in radio in Dallas, and I've been on 85 stations across the country at one time or another.
I've got an amazing family and love spending time with them. But two toddlers can wear a girl out! I try to keep up. I've found that mac and cheese helps, and sometimes you just have to let them play with your pens and papers as a way to keep the peace. Proudest Moment: When I gave birth. That was something I never thought I would do and the whole experience was something I'll never forget. Favorite 3 Movies: Steel Magnolias, The Hours, and Eat Pray Love. Chick flicks rule.
Coolest Celeb You Ever Met: Pat Green. He was nicer than most and super down to earth.
Celeb You'd Like To Invite To Dinner: Oprah. Many people say it, but I really mean it. I'm fascinated.
Favorite TV Channels: HGTV, Food Network, ESPN. And Nick Jr. for the girls. I make such sacrifices for them.
Quirky favorite things: Blue ink and cheddar cheese.
