Remember when we thought Beyonce had scrapped her new record? Well, according to the singer’s reps, her highly anticipated fifth album hasn’t been delayed after all. Yay!

Yesterday (July 24), a spokesperson for Bey reportedly told the Huffington Post that an official release date had never been set. The representative went on to say that Beyonce has been recording in the studio during her current Mrs. Carter Show World Tour — and that we can expect a press rollout in conjunction with any official release date (along with any official delays).

Earlier this month, Diplo — who recorded two tracks for her upcoming album — revealed that he believed the songs had been scrapped. Ne-Yo also admitted to having worked with Beyonce on material for the new disc.

“They're still trying to figure out what they want that to be, which I'm not mad at,” said the R&B singer.

"Beyonce's the kind of artist where you're not gonna see it till it's right,” he added. “And her fans — they love her so they'll be patient."

We’ll try to be patient. But we still have our fingers crossed that the album comes out sooner rather than later!
