Lady Gaga‘s Little Monsters social networking site finally and officially launched yesterday (July 10.) The site is a place for Gaga fans to congregate, get to know one another and swap stories and photos. It’s now up and running. The homepage offers a simple salutation. It reads: “Welcome Home, Little Monsters.” Gaga is accepting you with open digital arms.
Jeez, what took her so long. It’s not like she doesn’t have 26 million Twitter followers or anything, gawking at the pictures she posts. In her quest for social media dominance, Lady Gaga has finally joined Instagram, the photo sharing service that Justin Bieber and Rihanna can’t seem to get enough of. Lookout, Biebs and RiRi! Gaga is ready to become the queen of yet another digital space. She’s coming for the crown.

Probably not since very few people are ever going to navigate through a Facebook profile to get an email address when it’s so much easier and more reliable to use Facebook’s internal messaging system.
However, the folks at Thank for You for Not Laughing have found other recent tweaks Facebook has made that are far more dubious.
In April, Google announced to the world Project Glass, augmented reality goggles that use Google maps, GPS technology, gyroscopes, powerful mini-processors and voice recognition software to keep the wearer connected to the internet completely hands-free.
Now this science fiction-like technology is available to buy. Sort of.
