Katrina: A Play of New Orleans uses survivor testimony and the rich cultural tradition of New Orleans to tell the story of the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.  Robert E. Lee students will bring to life survivor testimonies that will inspire you, bring tears to your eyes and encourage you to help make a change by donating to the Make It Right program. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Make It Right NOLA foundation created by Brad Pitt in order to help rebuild the lower 9th ward in New Orleans. There will be merchandise for purchase provided by Make It Right NOLA and donations will be accepted on behalf of the program. Bring your entire family, church and invite all of your friends so that those in the New Orleans lower 9th ward can know that Tyler, Texas wants to help make it right. Tickets are $5.00 at the door and hurricane Katrina survivors get in free.
