Getting Back In The Habit – Running
Okay, I’m gonna toot my own horn for a second! I think I’ve turned something into a routine. I’ve been getting to the gym 5 mornings a week by 5:30….and that’s A.M.! haha. I know, I can’t believe it either. I”ve heard that if you can keep doing something for at least 6 weeks….it becomes a habit. I’m going to test it out and see if it works. I’m about a month in so I don’t have much longer to go. I also have re-discovered my passion for running. I used to run about 15 miles on the weekends! I used to run half marathons. I used to get lost in running. USED to being the key word. I lost my passion about a year and a half ago. I am starting out slow. 4 miles during the week…..6 on the weekends if I can….but I’m slowly getting in a groove. Here’s my question. Where aer your favorite to run or walk in East Texas? Nichols Green in J-ville is one of mine….I’ll also love Tyler State Park. Let me know. Perhaps I’ll see you at the crack of dawn someday soon!!
