Without a doubt one of the biggest songs of the summer is Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know" and it has been interpreted many different ways through video parodies.  A few weeks back Gotye announced he'd be releasing his own parody version of his song.

Well, that parody has been released and features a ton of other parodies all melded together to form an interesting twist on the song.  The video is called "Somebodies:  A YouTube Orchestra".  He writes the following on his YouTube account:

Reluctant as I am to add to the mountain of interpretations of Somebody That I Used To Know seemingly taking over their own area of the internet, I couldn't resist the massive remixability that such a large, varied yet connected bundle of source material offered.

The video features saxophones, guys beating their chests, guitar quartets, banjos, ukeleles with up to seventeen different images being shown on the screen at the same time.

Gotye also wants to credit all of the videos that was used to create his parody, so he lists in chronological order by time and location on the screen the source video.  After looking at it, it's a rather extensive list.
