It's sticky, sweet and goes great on pancakes and waffles and this Saturday Henderson will be celebrating with the annual Syrup Festival. This year marks the 25th year for the festival that includes more than just syrup!

At the Heritage Syrup Festival you can check out demonstrations on how syrup was made from cane sugar in old days right out side of the Depot Museum that will also feature Bluegrass music, art, blacksmithing and more. There will more than 300 vendors selling home made goods and crafts, an antique car show and a chili cook-off too.

The 25th annual Heritage Syrup Festival in downtown Henderson will be this Saturday, November 9th and will be open from 9a to 5p. For more details check them out online.
