Nominate Kids With A Life-Altering Or Life-Threatening Condition For The Kidd’s Kids Trip

There's nothing more satisfying to a parent than seeing a huge smile on their kids' faces and enjoying life. Watching kids enjoy themselves and have fun is extremely rewarding to parents.

For some kids though, smiling regularly is a hard thing to do because of limitations from a life-altering or life-threatening condition. The Kidd's Kids Trip looks to change that for many families by providing a trip of a lifetime where some kids smile for the first time while others have a permanent smile on their cute faces.

Kidd's Kids Trip 2024 Applications are now being accepted

Magical family memories have been created for more than 30 years thanks to The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show and for the last two decades, countless smiles have been captured at Walt Disney World in Florida while on the Kidd's Kids Trip.

Now is the time to nominate these special children and their immediate families to go on this trip of a lifetime like so many other families from right here in East Texas have experienced.

This November the cast of The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show will be accompanying a special group of deserving kids on a trip of a lifetime, along with their immediate families, as part of the Kidd's Kids Trip!

This magical trip for a group of well-deserved children is 100% funded by the listeners of The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show. The kids going on the trip are all affected by a life-altering or life-threatening condition. While on the trip, the red carpet is rolled out for these kids. All expenses are covered, including hotel, park passes, food, souvenirs, and more, thanks to the generosity of KiddNation.

In addition, immediate family members will get to go on the trip too. That means the child's parents, siblings, or any caretakers. It's an experience for the entire family. Often siblings of those with special needs may feel neglected at times as much of the focus could be on the one child and this trip is just as much about them as well!

Criteria list to nominate a child for the trip:

• The child must be between the ages of 5 and 12 years old at the time of the trip.
• The child’s illness or disability must be one of the following: diagnosed with a chronic/terminal illness OR be physically challenged OR have an impairment due to a birth defect or accident/injury.
• The child and their family must reside in a Kidd Kraddick Morning Show radio listening area. “Listening area” is defined by being able to listen to the show on the radio in the child’s home city.
• The child’s family must show a financial need (being otherwise unable to afford a trip of this nature).

Where do you complete the application?

Applications are available on the Kidd's Kids website and can be downloaded and completed by the family or you may nominate a child by completing all the required information on the application.

The application deadline is Friday, June 14. The 2024 Kidd's Kids Trip is planned for Thursday, November 21st - Monday, November 25th.
