Creative Embroidery Celebrates ‘Star Trek,’ The Office’ and More [IMAGES]

As a way to give the art form of embroidery a much-needed dose of kitsch, graphic designer Sarah, who runs the website Totally Severe, has created needlepoint works of art depicting a variety of random pop culture subjects.  Napoleon (who sits astride a ‘My Little Pony’), Dwight Shrute from ‘The Office’ and the cast of ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’ (all wearing Carmen Miranda-style fruit hats for some reason) are all present.

Check out some examples of Sarah’s kitschy and nostalgic work below. You can see more fun art over on Totally Severe.
