Again this year, East Texans will be helping the Tyler Komen Race For The Cure fight the fight to find a cure for breast cancer.

The Mother's Day tradition will continue this year with the Tyler Komen Race For The Cure with thousands of participants running and walking their way along the brick streets of Tyler's beautiful Azalea District on Saturday, May 12th at Bergfeld Park in Tyler. The day will begin with a survivors breakfast at 7 a.m. followed by the Kids Dash at 8 a.m., survivor's parade at 8:20 a.m., the untimed 5k race at 9 a.m. and the 1 mile run/walk at 9:15 a.m.

The race, along with other Komen Races, are among the world's largest and most successful when it comes to education and fundraising for breast cancer research. This particular race is for all fitness levels and ages with participants running, jogging, trotting, skipping or walking to support the cause to find a cure!

Registration is happening now online and can be completed up to the start of the race! You may register as in individual, join an existing team or create a team and support the cause as a group.
