Gleeks finally heard from Lea Michele yesterday.

She posted the above photo on Twitter with the following message:

“Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support. Cory will forever be in my heart.”

The instant reaction to her post showed that Gleeks around the world are still hurting and sharing their condolences with the Michele, following the loss of her co-star and boyfriend Cory Monteith. In its first 20 minutes, her post had received nearly 50,000 retweets and 45,000 favorites.

Michele's reps have issued statements on her behalf in the days following the death of her co-star and boyfriend. She has been understandably quiet since his death, but gathered with fellow cast and crew and Glee creator, Ryan Murphy, last week for a private memorial service at Paramount Studios, “to share memories and music in an emotional celebration of the life of Cory Monteith,” 20th Century Fox said in a statement to ABC News.

Michele was also insistent that the show return only one week after its scheduled start.

“She was very adamant that she thought it was best for the cast and crew to get back to together sooner [rather] than later so that mortgages could be paid and people could take care of their families,” Murphy told the website TVLine.com.
