Growing up in Washington many of my childhood memories are running through fields of tulips. Truly it's a wonderful experience. The thought of a tulip field may seem unrealistic in the South, however, think again.

You Can Tiptoe Through a Field of Tulips Just North of Dallas.

It's one of the sweetest spring events and it just reopened to the public. Texas-Tulips is a farm in Pilot Point, Texas just north of Dallas. This farm is unlike anything you have ever seen in the South. You can walk through the beautiful fields of tulips and take in the gorgeous view for just $5.00.

You Can Take a Little Bit of the Views With You

You can pick your own tulips. It's called U-pick, where you pay $2.50 per stem, and then your bouquet is wrapped in pretty paper and stems that are put in flower gel. There are picking baskets available on the field.

You Can Drop By the Farm Any Day of the Week.

The farm is open 7 days a week from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.
