While on vacation a few weeks ago, my wife and I took my daughter to one of those kids science places and while there I learned my life expectancy. It all happened at a very cool place called Wonderworks in Pigeon Forge, TN.

The outside of the building is very unique because it looks like a tornado or hurricane has picked up this old big house and tossed it around leaving it resting on its' roof.  When you first walk in to the exhibit hall there is a huge spinning tunnel that really messes with your sense of balance, I mean alot! We got to touch, interact with, experience and feel a lot of things about science, nature and more. I honestly have to say, I had a fun time too being the old dad that I am! I really had fun playing in that place with my daughter.

There was one exhibit though that made me feel good about my age, it was a kiosk that determined how long I'm expected to live. I answered quite a few questions (and some of them were quite thoughtful and personal too!) and then it revealed my ages - real age, a virtual age along with my life expectancy. I was happy to learn that I'm supposed to live longer than the average Joe and I was happy to learn that my virtual age was quite a bit lower than my biological age! So I'm going to keep on doing what I do, live how I live and worry about high blood pressure, cholesterol and all those other things later in life!
