Madison’s Miracle Walk With The MDA Of East Texas

The 2012 MDA of East Texas Muscle Walk will be held Saturday morning at Broadway Square Mall, and one of the teams will be representing Madison Radla. Madison suffers from muscular dystrophy and has a special connection to Mix 93-1, because she was part of the Kidd's Kids trip in 2010 to Walt Disney World.

Kidd Kraddick in the Morning started the Kidd's Kids charity more than 20 years ago, and each year he takes a group of kids to  Disney World that suffer from a chronic or terminal illness.  The trip is 100% paid for by the listeners of the show, and Madison was chosen to go on the trip a couple of years ago.

Madison was diagnosed with Central Core Disease , a type of Muscular Dystrophy that affects muscle growth and retention." (mda.org)

Since 2008, Madison has been one of Jerry's Kids and has benefited from their help in many ways.  Her family has created a team in Madison's honor to help support the MDA and the Tyler MDA Muscle Walk.  The walk will be held inside Broadway Square Mall from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday.
