Matchbox Twenty Star in TV Drama [VIDEO]

Smooth: The TV Show is one of the newest shows on Funny Or Die and stars Rob Thomas and his band mates from Matchbox Twenty. The imagined show casts Rob Thomas in the role of Detective Thomas Smooth in a CSI cop like show.

One of the scenes in this made up show features Rob talking with a crying woman and while talking with her, they both deliver lines from the 1999 hit song. Matchbox Twenty band mates Paul Doucette and Kyle Cook also star in this funny made up show promo.

The funniest part of the promo is the ending as Detective Thomas Smooth is held captive by Tomas suave, who's played by Rob too!
