Meet Black Jack — Pet of the Week

Check out Black Jack, a two year-old male Newfoundland mix.

Black Jack is available for adoption at the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People in Tyler after his owner abandoned him. Black Jack is a very big guy – he weighs 85 pounds. The Newfoundland breed is extremely kid friendly and a great family dog.

Black Jack has been neutered, is current on starting vaccinations including rabies and has been microchipped for identification purposes. Adoption hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10 am until 5 pm - closed for lunch 1-2 pm.

The Humane Society’s Pets Fur People is a selective admission no kill animal sanctuary. They offer dog boarding and routine vaccinations except for rabies to the public for dogs and cats.
