Mother’s Day may have come and gone, but a tearjerker ad by Procter & Gamble for the 2012 London Olympics reminds us why we should celebrate moms every day. (Get a hanky ready. You’ll need it.)

In this two-minute commercial, moms across the world help their kids achieve Olympic greatness by waking them early, taking them to practice, nursing their injuries, downplaying their failures and celebrating their successes.

If you somehow manage to keep dry eyes at the beginning, you’ll shed a tear for sure at the ad’s closing message, which reads, “The hardest job in the world, is the best job in the world. Thank you, mom.” (Sniff!) Okay, Procter & Gamble. You got us.
