School Zones Return Monday In Tyler

Kids feel that summer break is never long enough!  They always want more time to play in the summer sun but for some kids in East Texas they've been hitting the books for a week now and for most, it's back to school Monday.  With the return of school, you'll be seeing those familiar yellow flashing school zone lights on your way in to work letting you know there are school children around.  Please slow down and observe the speed zones and remember to put the cell phone down too!

The City of Tyler and Tyler ISD reminds all motorists that school zones will be operation beginning Monday and continue each school day between 7a - 9a and then again 2p - 4p.

There are a few exceptions to the school zone times - but there are only a few!
