Shakira Is Pregnant

In a Facebook posting on her page, Shakira announces that she is pregnant!

She and Gerard Pique, the baby's daddy, confirmed their relationship by posting a pic of them together on her Twitter and Facebook pages on March 29th of last year.  Gerard is a professional soccer player who plays center for the FC Barcelona team as well as Spain's national soccer team too.

Shakira has cancelled her scheduled appearance at a music festival in Las Vegas this weekend and it is unclear now how the pregnancy is going to affect her upcoming appearance on The Voice next season as she is supposed to be filling in for Cee Lo Green, who is taking a season off to focus on music and his acting career.
