Sheryl Crow has a rather impressive resume that includes:  singer, songwriter and cancer survivor.  Now she can add cookbook author to her resume!  She recently wrote a book with her personal chef who's been working with her since she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

The cookbook called If It Makes You Healthy, landed in bookstores on Tuesday and features 125 recipes, all grouped seasonally. There are menus for dinner parties and recipes for small, home-cooked meals for Sheryl and her two sons.  Sheryl says the book is perfect even for those who weren't born with a spatula in their hands -- like her.  She says,

I'm not that comfortable in the kitchen!  I'd much rather be in a studio!  So it's great to have recipes that even I can cook."  She adds, "The most concern for me is putting things in my body that are about wellness...and they're about good taste and simple recipes and that's what's in this book."

The book is available online now at Amazon.com.
