The 23rd film in the James Bond franchise debuted at number one here in the states over the weekend bringing in a record setting $87.8 million in just three short days. Skyfall's opening numbers beat the previous Bond film Quantum of Solace when it debuted earning $67.5 million in 2008. Over the past 50 years there have been some pretty hot women playing bond girls in the movie and Daniel Craig (the current Bond man) was posed with the question, "Who would make a better Bond Girl, Beyonce or Rihanna?" His answer surprised his co-stars.

Last night at 6:07 our time, Adele released the latest theme song for the upcoming James Bond film Skyfall. This time had more importance in London though as it was 0:07 when it was released and it also timed perfectly with the 50th anniversary of the release of the first James Bond film, Dr. No. In 007's honor, today has been named Global James Bond Day.

It was Monday morning when we learned that Adele did record the theme song for the upcoming James Bond film Skyfall. The release of the song coincided with James Bond's 0:07, in London time and the song debuted on Adele's website. However, we did get a :90 clip of the song on Tuesday thanks to a French radio station, but now the song is officially out.

Just this morning, Adele officially confirmed the rumors that she would be singing the theme to 'Skyfall,' the 23rd James Bond film, when she tweeted a photo of the official sheet music.
