Apparently Madonna's warranty as bestie has expired, leading Gwyneth Paltrow to trade her in for a younger, prettier model.
And why was Madge was kicked to the curb like last season's thigh-high boots? Because Gwynnie wants someone she can control nurture.

Photos of the duo are so rare that we couldn’t find a decent one for this post! However, during last Friday’s (June 30) Coldplay gig in Miami, the singer threw caution to the wind. He did a complete about face, running up the venue steps and into the crowd seats to plant a big ol’ smooch on his wife and baby mama Gwynnie’s lips … in front of several tens of thousands of their closest fans.
Because she is really famous, Gwyneth Paltrow is able to do things like pose for pictures with comedy legends Steve Martin and Martin Short at the Academy Awards.
But don’t think Paltrow doesn’t appreciate this privileged perch. The 39-year-old actress tweeted the photo above from the 2012 Oscars for all of her Twitter followers to see with the message, “I love my life.”
