Well, Christmas has come and gone. All of the egg nog is gone, the Christmas dinner is just left overs, and all of the presents are unwrapped. So, how did it go for you? Did you get everything that you wanted?
It's a tradition that dates back to your parents and it's handed down from generation to generation and can change over time too but not everyone does the same thing when it comes to opening Christmas presents. The question came up at a party over the weekend and some people were quite rigid in their Christmas routine.
There they are, the gifts, they're all wrapped up in pretty paper and just sitting there under the tree, all alone and just waiting for someone to rip off the paper to reveal the secret that's contained. But is it really a secret, if you've stolen a little peek? NO!
Longview Police have recovered some of the Christmas presents stolen from a storage facility late last year. The toys and electronics were among many items that belonged to the Gregg County Child Welfare Board, and were going to be distributed at Christmas to local foster children.
