As summer approaches and more East Texans are going out into area parks and playgrounds, the Tyler Parks and Recreation Department are looking for some help.
Sometimes we take the towns we live in for granted. We don't always realize the charm they have for, say, road trippers from OTHER towns passing through.
Dreaming of the ocean lately? I am. Add a road trip, white sand beaches, and pina coladas, & I'm ready to go. You?

There's sweet & tart currants, succulent raspberries, and beautiful blackberries growing wild around our area. You can even go blueberry picking in East Texas.
I'm okay for now, but come July--Should I hide in the shade? Check. Ice water? Check. Consume as many popsicles as possible? Got it. Any other suggestions?
