Meet Ms. Williams Of Jack Elementary In Tyler, Mix 93-1’s Teacher Of The Week
Being a teacher in East Texas is very rewarding. Teachers get to impart knowledge to their students that will help prepare them for the real world. Oftentimes though students don't realize the things they're being taught in school will help them succeed in life.
Students might not think that fractions, the periodic table of elements, government, and history are going to help them in the world, but they will and when they realize that they had the knowledge to complete the job or answer the question, they'll be thanking the teacher that gave them that information.
As a parent when you think about it, teachers, in most cases, spend more time with their students than you spend with your child. Teachers are helping to mold that child of yours and shape their future along the way.
There are a lot of phenomenal East Texas teachers that are putting a good amount of quality time, dedication, and patience into helping your child succeed in the classroom. That's why we want to recognize these amazing teachers.
Mix 93-1 and White Oak ISD would like to recognize this week's

She has helped my son [name redacted] improve so much since his diagnosis last spring. She has helped him set goals and encouraged him when he gets frustrated. He even insisted that we get her something for Valentine's Day. That's how much he adores her.
