Texas Blue Bell Just Released an Ice Cream for Butter Lovers

About Twice a Year We Have an Ice Cream Party in Our Building.

It is almost like our office loves to have a grand reveal for the latest Blue Bell flavor. Every year I am waiting around hoping that the spring will bring back one of my favorite flavors.

Usually, I would say that there is no more fit a companion for a homemade blackberry cobbler than my old standby Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla ice cream. This time, the folks at the creamery in Brenham, Texas have cut out the middleman (who is possibly your grandmother) by including the delicious cobbler in the ice cream with their new Southern Blackberry Cobbler.

Instead of my dream ice cream being there, we saw the new flavor Butter Cake Ice Cream. Blue Bell Ice Cream took to their Facebook page for the big announcement; "Say hello to our NEW Gooey Butter Cake Ice Cream! A flavorful Cake Batter Ice Cream combined with a luscious cream cheese swirl and rich, gooey butter cake pieces. As delicious as the gooey butter cake made famous in St. Louis!" What does a Butter Cake Ice Cream taste like? Listen it is a party in your mouth that you won't regret, but warning you must love butter. This ice cream is for lovers of butter only.
