Getting together in the mid '70s The B-52s didn't have commercial success on the radio til the '90s with their album Cosmic Thing which spawned the hits Channel Z, Love Shack and Roam. Kate Pierson and Fred Schneider are the most recognized figures of the band and when I played Roam today right before 10a, I thought the song would be perfect for today's Mix 93-1 Retro Video. The band is currently on the road, however there are no dates close to East Texas!
