Tyler’s Stevie Jo From ‘The Voice’ Calls Into Mix 93-1 [AUDIO]
Tyler resident and Chapel Hill High School graduate, Stevie Jo, has landed a spot on the NBC show 'The Voice' by having one of the vocal coaches react to his blind audition. Usher was the only judge that reacted to his song, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton though really wanted to push their buttons, but had a feeling if they had done so, they all would have been fighting over him and they know deep inside that he would have chosen Usher.
Up next for Stevie Jo are the battle rounds, which begin on Monday on 'The Voice'. Lucky Larry and Mandee Montana, from Mix 93-1, caught up with Stevie Jo today from somewhere in Tyler and talked to him about his experience on the show so far, growing up in a musical family, hit time at Chapel Hill along with his favorite BBQ and Mexican food joints in town!
Stevie Jo will be making an appearance at Fresh by Brookshire's on Old Jacksonville Hwy. in Tyler on Saturday (March 15th) from 1p - 3p on the patio. Stop by and see him before he makes it big!
