Sunday, May 28, join many fellow East Texans at Pickin' Porch Park in Ben Wheeler for a day of music and help for the victims of the April 29th tornadoes that ripped through Van Zandt County.

The day is filled with a collection of well known East Texas artists including Canton natives Jeff Allen and Wesley Pruitt Band, Shreveport's Blacktop Gypsy and many, many more.

In addition to the great music, your kids will be entertained with bounce houses along with a great magic show from Johnny Magic. There will also be a silent auction.

Food trucks will be on site but you can also head across the street to Moore's Store or The Forge Bar & Grill for some vittles.

Admission is free, but a $20 donation per person at the gate will go a long way to helping those that are recovering. All funds raised will go to the Van Zandt County Tornado Relief Fund set up at First State Bank of Ben Wheeler.

Welsey Pruitt, of the Wesley Pruitt Band, one of the organizers of the event said, "Canton is my hometown. Personally, this has been so heartbreaking and emotional. The whole town went dark that night. There was no light anywhere except for emergency responders. Wanting to help in the days to come I knew that musicians could be a much-needed light for so many."
