Last night, Whitney Houston's body was flown to her home state of New Jersey on a private jet, owned by Tyler Perry, where she will be laid to rest in her hometown of Newark.

The funeral will be held at noon Saturday in a private, invitation-only ceremony at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, N.J., according to ABC Radio News. The announcement came from the family's pastor at Newark's Whigham Funeral Home.

It was being reported that her funeral would take place at a large venue like the Prudential Center or the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, but her mom, Cissy Houston, made it clear her daughter would receive a small family funeral service inside a church.  Cissy had been at the funeral home making arrangements until 2 a.m. this morning.
