2013 SAG Awards Nominations Announced: ‘Les Miserables’ Leads the Pack
The 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations were announced this morning and the full list of nominees shouldn't be much of a surprise. 'Les Miserables' and 'Lincoln' led all movies with four nominations each and 'Modern Family' led all TV shows with a total of four nominations. Tomorrow the Golden Globes nominations will be announced so take a look below to see the full list of the 2013 SAG Awards nominations and see who the frontrunners for Golden Globe and Oscar glory are.
Some surprises in this year's SAG Awards nominations include a complete shutout for both 'Django Unchained' and 'This is 40' and a surprise nomination for Nicole Kidman for the critically reviled 'The Paperboy.' 'The Avengers' was also curiously excluded from the 'Outstanding Action Performance' while 'Les Miserables' made the cut. On the TV side, 'The Walking Dead' was mostly shut out, save for an award for the show's stuntmen. It was nice to see Louis C.K. get a nomination for his work on FX's 'Louie.'
The 19th annual Screen Actors Guild awards will be handed out at 8pm EST on Sunday, January 27th on TBS.
