UPDATE (July 8): 2-year-old Zamia Ann Whitaker has been found safe after reportedly being abducted in Center, TX.

Zamia was found in Alto by the Cherokee Police Department.

The toddler was with 27-year-old Zenas Whitaker at a residence in Alto. Zenas surrendered to authorities and handed Zamia to the responding officers.

The Amber Alert was canceled by the Center Police Department Wednesday morning at 7:30.

The Center Police Department needs your help in finding a 2-year-old girl believed to have been abducted.

Authorities say Zimia Ann Whitaker was last seen in Center on Tuesday, July 7. Zamia is 2 feet 6 inches tall, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt and white shorts.

27-year-old Zenas Montre Whitaker is considered the suspect responsible for taking Zamia and was last seen driving a brown Ford Fusion with a temporary license plate.

Zenas is described as a white male with black hair and brown eyes, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds.

Law enforcement believe Zimia to be in grave or immediate danger.
