Beer Will Cost You Big at these Texas Airports
Everyone knows that at the airport, time is non-existent. You want a beer at 7 in the morning for your 8 AM flight? Totally acceptable!
Airport beers are almost a rite of passage when traveling, and as the holiday travel season heightens, you may want to know which airports across the country are selling the most expensive beer?
Finance Buzz has compiled a list of U.S. Airports with the Most Expensive Beer Prices, and, unfortunately for Texas, two of our airports are selling the most expensive beer!
The average cost for a beer across America’s 50 busiest airports is $8.97. However, travelers should plan to shell out at least $10 - especially at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) in Austin because beer there is $10. But it's not as much as Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) in Dallas, where a brew will cost you $11.99.
Nothing compares to LaGuardia in New York where beer will cost you $13.83. In fact, LaGuardia is also one of three different airports servicing the New York City area that are in the top 10 most expensive airports for beer. John F. Kennedy International has the fourth-highest average beer price of any airport at $11.82, while Newark Liberty International Airport’s average beer cost of $10.41 is the ninth highest.
Luckily for Texas travelers, there is one airport that ended up on the other end of the spectrum: Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in Houston has a cheap beer price tag of just $7.36.

I think we all know though, that just as time is non-existent at airports, money also doesn't play much of a factor when you're traveling, if you're on vacation you're most likely to say "eff it!" and pay the $13 for a beer!
