There have been numerous recalls happening in the great state of Texas for the last couple of months that have become quite nerve-wracking. Recently News Week released an article stating that there were four types of soft cheese products sold in 28 different states here in the country and they are now to a voluntary recall by grocery chains due to potential Salmonella.

Even though Salmonella is one of the most common forms of food poisoning in the United States it is very odd for it to find itself being spread through the country like it has been.  Salmonellosis (Salmonella) is an infection with a bacteria. Salmonella is something that lives in the intestinal tracks of animals, including birds as well and is usually transmitted to humans by food contaminated with animal feces.

Salmonella is not usually life-threatening however it can be deadly if it spreads to other parts of the body and causes Specsis.
