BREAKING: French Fashion Designer Pierre Cardin Dies

French fashion designer Pierre Cardin has died at age 98. He is widely known around the world for bringing stylish clothing to the masses.

Cardin was born in Italy in 1922 but moved to France as youngster. He died in a hospital just outside of Paris.

Cardin founded his own fashion house in 1950 and in the following decades he built up a global business empire.
