Last Thursday, Bruno Mars helped set one of the biggest attendance records in the history of the Houston Livestock & Rodeo. The Houston Rodeo kicked off February 25th and runs through March 17th and features a ton of rodeo action along with some big concerts.

Bruno played Reliant Stadium on Thursday (March 7th) where there were 75,175 in attendance, breaking the record set by Jason Aldean, which was 74,901 at last years rodeo (Houston Chronicle). During the show Bruno performed "Locked Out Of Heaven", "Billionaire", "Grenade", "When I Was Your Man" and many more. Thanks to YouTube user Francisco Villalobos, you can catch 15 minutes of the show on his YouTube channel.

After the show, Bruno tweeted:

Bruno Mars' record may be short lived though because some big name acts are still to come before the rodeo ends on the 17th, including some sold out shows from some country heavy hitters! Among those are Jason Aldean tonight, Kenny Chesney on Tuesday, not so country Pitbull on Thursday and others. The big one comes Sunday night, the final day, the Randy Rogers Band and Martina McBride will be opening up for a sold out crowd for George Strait.
