It's been a long and rocky road to get to this place, but we've arrived: Camila Cabello's first actual solo debut single, "Crying in the Club," has arrived on this #NewMusicFriday (May 19).

Following her dramatic departure from Fifth Harmony, as well as several collaborations over the past few years with acts like Shawn Mendes, Machine Gun Kelly, Pitbull and J Balvin and just ahead of the release of her debut solo album The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving., Camila's first formal foray into solo stardom starts with the help of reliable pop scribes Sia and Benny Blanco.

The moody cut, as many have already noted, bears a striking resemblance to Sia's own 2016 hit "Cheap Thrills" — and, accordingly, Ed Sheeran's similar-sounding "Shape Of You."

"Ain't no crying in the club (hey, hey) / Let the beat carry, your tears as they fall baby / Ain't no crying in the club (hey, hey) / With a little faith, your tears turn to ecstasy," she declares, briefly dabbling in the classic melody plucked from Christina Aguilera's own '99 debut, "Genie In A Bottle." ("AH-ah-AHH-ah-AHH...")

No doubt, the Lotus legend is touched by the tribute.

“I might have thought the hurting was my enemy before, but she became the best listener. I might have thought I was too impatient for the healing, and it did feel like sometimes she was taking forever, but I realized it made me appreciate her so much more when she arrived. and the loving, I wouldn’t have known how beautiful she was if I couldn’t miss her all that time," Camila said of her debut album's intention.

Will Camila have her very first hit with "Crying in the Club"? Listen below.
